I was accepted to Texas tech and to estimate the tuition I confirmed enrollment to get the estimate.
I just received a notification that UTD has received my FASFA information a few days later. But all I got was the comet scholarship that all transfer students get. NOTHING else. Is it because my Fasfa went to Texas tech?
What is your EF? Are you pell eligible? If yes, pell is an entitlement that you will receive no matter where you attend. You will also be eligible for ant state aid that you are entitle to and loans. They will be added to your package.
@sybbie719 My efc? is 0 and my pell grants are usually 5k. I got max amount at texas tech and it also shows up as if I accepted, I also get offers for a scholarship and loans but that shows up as offer
Just made sure that you have updated your FAFSA and you have added UTD,
All of your entitlements will go to UTD, if that is your final choice
“Pell grants are usually 5K”-- can you clarify???- how long have you been a student and how much of your federal aid (Pell) have you already received, are you going to be enrolling as a full time student or part time???
Are you a transfer student? How long have you been receiving the Pell Grant?
Why did you have to confirm enrollment to find out how much you were going to need to pay at Texas Tech? Did you NOT receive a financial aid package from them?
You can also contact UTD financial aid and ask them when you will be receiving a full financial aid package.
