What happens if I sent ACT scores of a test I didn't end up taking?

So I took the September ACT and got a 33, but before I got the score, I had signed up for the October ACT as well, just in case. However, I ended up not going to the October ACT since I was happy with my September ACT score. I went through the act website today to double check again if I had sent my act scores to the UC’s, but I looked and saw that I had accidentally sent my October scores instead of my September score. I immediately requested my september test results to all the schools i am applying to, but I am freaking out and i dont know what is going to happen. For all of the schools that I sent my october results (the test i didnt end up taking), what are they going to see? Will they simply see a 0? and also for all the colleges I applied early (Brown, northeastern, and case western), will they see the new score reports in time? I dont know what to do.

Failure to show up to take an ACT test results in automatic cancellation and nothing is or can be sent to colleges. As to whether your Sep score may now be too late for early decision or early action, it depends on college, but it may be, incuding because it may take a few days to a week before ACT even sends it. You should check with each college.
