What happens to internationals after graduation?

So, as an international student, you spend your 4 golden years at Penn, and graduate with a decent-good GPA. Then what? What does the future look like for international students?
Do they easily find jobs within the States that'll sponsor them or do they head back home because they can't work let alone find jobs?

They can get jobs overseas too and many of them do head back home. However there are plenty of employers in the us that sponsor visas so that is also a possibility. Many firms are multinational so that adds to the benefit.

They end up working in sweat shops located in the sewers of Washington D.C, secretly funded by the Government… or so I’ve heard

^ lol, it was a joke take it easy -_-*. Obviously, ANYONE (with a good GPA) who graduates from Penn will have plenty of great work opportunities available to them, whether in the states or outside.

haha, not vey funny though :stuck_out_tongue:
anyway, overachiever, u got in penn or wat?

Nope, still writing my “Why Penn” essay :D

ohhhh, great…!!

(v’r chattin on sum1s thread as if its our chat box :stuck_out_tongue: )

LOL, I’m applying to CAS HBU?

he got in to M&T :)

I’ve been looking through the Careers, internships, and employment forum and it seems as though internationals have a hard time finding jobs in the states post-college.
