What If I am below the minimum grade in a prereq?

I am thinking of transferring schools and to get into the next business program for marketing/international business It requires a B- in intro to marketing (which I got a C+ in (which is mostly my fault) because I had some personal issues that took me away from being committed to reading/studying the text book to be properly prepared for the final to boost it up higher from a B that I had before) Many of the other ‘required’ classes that are requested I have a B/B+ in.

Does the class not qualify for credit and I need to take it again or am I doomed to stay at the current school?

Unless you can get a B- you are doomed.

Doubtful that you will be able to transfer to the school without meeting their minimum requirements. But nobody but the school can answer your question with 100% certainty. Call admissions and ask.
