What if I Early Action to Georgetown but Early Decision somewhere else?

I understand it is something they detail on their application site, but I did not check the box where I confirm I understand this. I am only considering this to maximize admissions to the best schools. Could they find out somehow I early decisioned elsewhere?

Yes they could find out and your offer would be rescinded. Do not do this!

https://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/firstyear/early-action:

Students applying under the Early Action program may not apply to any binding Early Decision programs since they then would not be free to choose Georgetown if admitted. Students are, however, allowed to apply to other Early Action or other Regular Decision programs while simultaneously applying to Georgetown’s Early Action program.

That does create a minor problem since my senior year grades are SLIGHTLY below my junior year grades, and I wanted the attention on 11th grade via EA. But since my ED school is a toughie, I should maintain my ED there for maximum probability.

I guess I’ll have to RD to Georgetown, which makes me nervous.

Probably the best decision to go ED to your other school, if you are a top applicant, and there is an ED vs RD boost. Georgetown doesn’t publish EA vs RD admit rates, but does state the rates are similar in admissions presentations and on the website.

From the website FAQs:

Is there a competitive advantage in applying to Georgetown under the Early Action program?
No. The acceptance rates at Early Action and Regular Decision will be roughly similar. Georgetown generally uses the overall acceptance rate from the year before as the acceptance rate at Early Action.
