What if I want one teacher to send more than one letter of recommendation?

So I know that if the school is Commonapp, I can link a teacher through there to request a LoR by putting in their email. Also I can link them through Naviance and request their LoR through there. (Should I do both? Will they be requested twice? I am confused about this.)

Also, I know that if the school is not on Commonapp, I only have to request a teacher LoR on Naviance alone.

But what if I want one teacher to send more than one LoR?

How do I do this if both schools are on common app? Should I link the teacher on both of the schools on the Commonapp AND request the teacher on Naviance twice?

And what if I want a teacher to send one to a school on Commonapp, and one to a school not on Commonapp?

I am just really confused, if someone could help me out to understand this process a little better I would greatly appreciate it.

You should NOT attempt to invite your teacher to submit a letter of rec via the Common App if your school is using Naviance eDocs. In fact, you won’t be able to invite them if your school uses eDocs to process the support materials (transcript, LOR, etc.) for your applications to Common App colleges. You’ll know whether your school uses eDocs or the Common App to submit these materials by going to the FERPA/recommender tab - it will state which method your school is using there. If your school uses eDocs, then you will not be able to invite the teacher separately. However, you CAN go into Family Connection and request the LOR from a teacher if your school has given students the ability to do so. And it’s a good idea to use the ‘notes’ section and let the teacher which which colleges you’re applying to so they know if it’s more than one application.
