what if you're not a science/math whiz?

Is this school only for mathematical geniuses? I'm considering the management school, and wonder if math dominates the whole university. I'm proficient, but definately no wiz! I'm more of an "above average" and "applied" student. Is this school still for me? thanks!

By no means...since most students are engineering majors, I think that creativity in applying math and knowing where to look for a solution is alot more important than knowing "advanced" math itself. In management you probably won't need to take the same level of math classes that engineering, math, and comp sci majors need to take.
As an engineering major myself, I'm not really that crazy about pure math either (same for most of us). It's when we get to apply it in engineering classes that we use it most often, and we prettymuch wrap up pure mathematics courses by sophomore year (calculus in feshman year, differential equations in soph year). So I wouldn't worry about it, it's not like students sit around talking about trig identities in their free time. Sometimes we do though, haha.

The way the school runs is that science and technology affects basically all things in life today so there is a science/tech theme throughout all of the programs (for example its the Lally School of Management and Technology...case in pont). That being said it is definitely not the case that you have to be a genius to do well here nor are you taking all hardcore engineering courses. It's just the idea that you should know about that stuff and how it affects what you will do when you graduate that is stressed. Check it out though, I think it's a great setup here.
