What Internet Browser do you use? (And most importantly why!?)

Firefox 4 is pretty awesome but maybe I’ll try Chrome.

I used to be Firefox all day ere day, but now I’ve switched to Chrome. I like how the top bar is really minimal so you can see more screen. And it’s super-fast.

Try Firefox 4. And the best part is that you don’t have to have it like that in Firefox unless you want to. Completely customizable. No, I’m not being paid by Mozilla.

Bottom bar is Windows, not Firefox.

So I just thought I’d let you all know that while browsing this thread, I noticed the ad at the top of this page.

It’s an ad for Chrome.

Google owns the internet.

^ Huh,

With firefox’s adblock, I don’t see it. Such a coincidence!

Actually I just got Firefox4 hours ago and haven’t gotten around to installing any ad-blockers.

Firefox! I’m still in 3.6 though. I use it because I love the theme PimpZilla. Yes, it’s called PimpZilla…but the design is really nice!

I retained my theme during the switch, you can, too.

How much bar you want showing can be anywhere between [a lot](http://i53.■■■■■■■.com/feql1l.png) and [a little](http://i51.■■■■■■■.com/2q1xftz.png).

[And doesn’t CC look nice without any ads?](http://i56.■■■■■■■.com/2uzfhus.png)

Honestly, all browsers are fine to me. The speed doesn’t even differ that much (Google Chrome is a little faster, but both IE and Firefox are still fast enough), and the only main differences are in appearance and certain settings. IE was downright terrible, but it’s gotten better with tabs and stuff like that. I personally use Firefox most of the time, but I use Safari at school, since we have Macs.

The days when IE didn’t have tabs and you had to open new windows - oh lord.

Chrome all the way. I’ve used both and I’ve noticed that Chrome is a bit faster. That, and it’s quite clean and useful with its tabs and quick links. Not to mention the ability to google search using the URL bar.

Side note: Firefox 4 pretty much looks like Chrome. Wonder why =P

“Firefox 4 pretty much looks like Chrome.” -> Except that Firefox remains completely customizable.
“useful with its tabs and quick links” -> ?
“Not to mention the ability to google search using the URL bar.” -> Lawl, I’ve been searching Google, IMDB, Wikipedia and dozens of other sites from my URL bar in Firefox, long before Chrome was even created.

Edit:
Oh, and this.

i used to be loyal to firefox but switched to chrome. i prefer chrome’s themes, and how much more streamlined it feels. ten times more intuitive and feels “smaller.”

I just downloaded Firefox 4. It’s nice, but I’m not feeling the…blockiness of the top bar. Chrome is most aesthetically pleasing, imo.

I shifted to chrome after going through this thread. And it’s worth it.
