I took AP Computer Science A, and I want to study the Java language in more detail. Is there a college-levle textbook that offers a good follow-up to the AP Comp Sci A curriculum? If you don't know of one, do you know of something else I can use as a follow up which would be equivalent to about a one-semester study or so?

APCS is like CS1 in college. CS2 would be about Data Structures (Java is a very popular language for colleges teaching CS) and algorithms such as searching and sorting.

[url="<a href="http://algs4.cs.princeton.edu/home"]Here[/url">http://algs4.cs.princeton.edu/home"]Here[/url] is a great textbook used in Princeton University on Data Structures. There is a course in Coursera on the book, but the online course is almost over but it might come back in a few months.

Hi, I am promoting something in this post. I have created a Java video tutorial covering the requirements(Java subset) of the AP Computer Science A exam.
It’s made in an easy to follow step by step manner. It’s only 4 hrs long, and every topic is covered in detail.
Every concept is taught using a simple program. There is also a small project to tie everything up.
I have 1.5 hrs of the 4 hr toutorial free at [Java in 4 hrs - Step by Step Video Tutorial - YouTube](<a href=“Java Tutorial for Beginners - Made Easy - Step by Step - YouTube”>Java Tutorial for Beginners - Made Easy - Step by Step - YouTube)
I assure everyone who watches the video, you will ace the AP Computer Science exam or I will refund the money.
Go ahead and give the sample chapters a try.
Take a look at the 16th part class and object just to get a hang of it here [P16 Class & Object - Java in 4 hrs step by step - YouTube](<a href=“P16 Class & Object - Java in 4 hrs step by step - YouTube”>P16 Class & Object - Java in 4 hrs step by step - YouTube)
Also, how to go about preparing for the exam is at [Patrick Videos](http://www.patrickvideos.com/#!ap-cs-exam/cctf)
