I got a 680 on the Physics Subject Test and I was curious as to whether or not that was a good score to send to colleges or if I should take it again. After doing some research it looks like the average score for the test is 667 so I am above the baseline but I couldn’t really find anything that gave a “good score” guideline. I’m probably going to take it again in January but I just wanted some opinions as to whether or not it would be a good idea to send the score to the colleges I’m applying to (I’m applying to various UCs as well as other colleges but no high end super hard to get into Ivy league schools or anything like that). Thanks.
Baseline for what? Depends upon the schools you are considering and your other credentials. A 680 is about 50 percentile. If you have a bunch of 800s already, no need to worry. If you are applying to Hofstra, probably OK. If you are applying to UCs and Ivys-not great.

Thanks for your input.
Anything above a 750 is fine.
