What is a "unique" talent

President George W. Bush cheered for both Philips Academy Andover in Amdover, Mass. and Yale University

I guess he did not go to the Andover we know of!.

I’m in 10th…

old person…

Yes, in comparison to you guys. I’ve been looking into the arts/rolling admision schools.

interlochen? did you apply there?

applied to over a dozen boarding schools
wrote a textbook

Not yet, and probably not.

I don’t think I’m gong to end up applying. I’m thinking about just applying to Walnut Hill and seeing what happens.

I don’t think I have a shot…period…

My dad used to teach at Interlochen =)

^ That’s really neat. What did he teach?

Drawing and painting, and some other variations - but at this point, he’s been teaching the same, plus photography, at my current school for 18 years straight.

Oh wow.

i honestly don’t think I could ever teach high school. I guess teaching at a school like Interlochen might be different, but I just don’t have the paitence.

My dad is not always patient either… He came home today complaining about his workload. It’s tough at the moment because IB examinations are coming up. He’s got a ton of stuff to do in not very much time, so he’s stressed and fairly negative… Haha

Would diving be considered “unique”? Kind of… semi, right?

I’m wondering about the significance about diving, especially since most schools don’t have this sport competitively/don’t recruit.

INTERLOCHEN<3

The conductors are some of the best…ever

I really wanted to go to the Interlochen summer music camp…but it’s quite pricey for a camp (around 9 grand). But then again, it’s super amazng…:|

^ Financial Aid? Or do your parents make too much?

I’d love to go, but I don’t have the money even with FA or the talent for that matter.
