What is an IB diploma (high school)??

Ive heard many people mention something about some high school IB program. First off, what is it? I dont think my high school offers it:/. Second, does it have any bearing on getting accepted into a competietive IB program (like s Carolina)? Im just really confused!

IB diploma stands for International Baccalaureate. Nothing to do with investment banking at college level but more like taking a bunch of AP exams.

IB at USC refers to International Business. You are formally accepted in IB at Carolina as an upper level student after completing certain number of hours and requirements.

IB (International Bacc as mentioned above) is a high school program that would be equivalent in GPA weighting to taking AP courses so either one would show that you are taking rigorous coursework.

Oh wow okay that makes so much more sense! Thanks so much for clarifying tht for me!
