What is appropriate for a Ivy League supplement?

Some of the Ivy League schools, as well as some others, that I'm lookingat have the option of sending in an arts supplement. I do some creative writing, and was wondering if it is appropriate to send in some of those things? I've had a few non-fiction articles published in magazines (which I could easily just photocopy), but I also wrote a book when I was in middle school. It isn't really something that fits into my application, especially since I didn't do it in high school, but it's kind of unusual. I don't really know what is appropriate to send in as a supplement, since so much of my "creative" stuff doesn't really come across well on paper (ie poetry slams, forensics pieces, etc.). I'm no Carnegie Hall level pianist, and I'm not necessarily the next Sylvia Plath. What sort of stuff is appropriate to send in?
