Im not from Australia though, lol.
It's just a username thing for identity protection. lol

It's not helping protect you if you're telling everyone. lol

exeter to me...

as an incoming prep next school year it seems like a really good school. i am aware of the struggles you can have and that you will have to make decisions that will affect you later in life. i really like the harkness method. i am tired of having 30 kids in my class and the teacher not calling on me when i raise my hand and instead calling on someone who doesn't care at all about school. i am really thankful that i was accepted with the financial aid i needed. exeter also seems like a nice community with the cars stopping for pedestrians (not like here). with an amazing math team, and the wide selection of sports. prestige had nothing to do with my decision, and the feel of the school was perfect for me. in other words, i am sold on exeter.

i know i don't really have a good idea of what being a student of the school is like since i'm not a student there yet, but i just wanted to share my feelings on the school.

A comment to iHerculez, that was a pre-acceptance precaution.

all this 2 AM conversation stuff reminds me of my weekend before finals week last year when I stayed up with three other friends talking about philosophical topics...we had started talking at around 11 PM? then at 5 AM we looked at the clock.....O_O and then we walked to dunkin donuts and watched some political news. =)

that was the best experience at exeter. it was also the stupidest thing i've ever done haha

hahaha...that sounds awesome, tuesdayair! I'm personally one for those inspirational/deep conversations--I couldn't get along without them!

an escape; a fresh start.

And this would be me resurrecting the Exeter thread... :]

it died for a reason.. Bring it up in march with acceptance letters. Then I think people will be up for it.

ivy league is to harvard like boarding school is to exeter

haha, ssat question right there! ^^

remember that Exeter is a large school(over 1000). If you look at the college matriculation, it is a bit disappointing except top 20% IVY candidates.
It is a tough school and it is a lot tougher to be in the top 20% in Exeter.
if you can belong to the top 20% at Exeter, you can be better no mater where you are at.

Agreed. And the SSAT question was totally on point, hotchkissjen, haha :]

Haha yeah ... so true hotchkissjen.

Epic three year revival
OHMYGOD!
