<p>I imagine a medical director or department head would be the closest right?
They control teams of doctors and are "advisers", but unlike House they are not walking specialist on every medical disease ever.</p>

<p>Medical directors and department heads are analogs to Cuddy, not House. Their role is dominantly administrative.</p>
