What is Landscape Architecture like?

<p>I haven't seen a thread on this topic, so here it is.</p>

<p>What's it like?
I'm kinda wavering back and forth between this and architecture and maybe you guys could give me some direction here. :P</p>

<p>Like, how much math does it involve, and how different is it from architecture?
I've heard it also involves building design anyway, but...eh.</p>
