I was wondering what was the best paying engineering jobs right now. I have researched a lot and they all say different things. What has the best job security? Best starting salary? Best mid-career salary? I honestly like all fields. And does double majoring help at all? And if any of you can guess what the job market will be like in 2020?

Systems Engineer: You are the innovator of your field. You are methodical, analytical and practical, but you also have a desire to create new things and implement these innovations into society. You’re smart, enjoy managing people and improving current processes. As a Systems Engineer you use many different fields of engineering and backgrounds to combine emerging technologies to create new ideas and materials. Your field is prominent in complex projects, such as spacecrafts, microchip design, robotics and creating large software products.
Google “how to choose which engineering field” to get advice.
Another way to think about it is to think about not that you like all, but that you aren’t that passionate about any. Which gives you the most flexibility?
Or what problem do you want to solve in the world?
