There are a lot of good schools on your list. What immediately strikes me is that many of them are state schools, and the cost is going to vary wildly depending on whether you are a state resident. That would make a big difference in how you might rank them for your purposes, especially with expensive professional school in your future.

So, are you in-state for any of these?

Huh? If you’re from NY, you’d be in state for both Stony Brook and Buffalo.

The best school is in the same state as the dental school you are interested in. Look over your choices, then try to figure out which one FITS YOU the best and then work really hard. I go to UNLV SDM and there are students from Harvard, UCLA, Berkeley, etc. However, once you get into dental school you are all the same and no one really cares what you did in undergrad. This may throw you off a little, but it’s true. Be a competitive applicant no matter what undergrad institution you go to.

If it were me I would choose the first four on your list. Why? Because they have the best dental schools.

I think it’s almost mandatory that on any pre-dental thread, some wag has to recommend Colgate.
