What is the best way to write a college essay?

<p>Can any one give me some tips, or websites that will lead me to write an effective essay that will help me get into a great university. I am planning on going to UNC-Chapel Hill and I have to write 2 essays. These are the topics: </p>

<p>1) Tell us about a time when you changed your mind about something that mattered to you. What led to that change?( I am planning on writing about the day that I choose to accept Christ in my life, and that I now have eternal life thanks to Him and why it came to matter n my life to make this decision</p>

<p>2) Topic of your choice( I am planning on writing about the following: How have your past experiences and interests influenced your choice of an academic major?)</p>

<p>If you have any ideas that I can write about for the "Topic of your choice," that will be effective and outstanding for UNC-Chapel Hill, I would be very thankful.</p>
