what is the difference between a banking and finance major and a finance major?

Im planning on taking business administration with accounting/finance as another major but the school im looking at offers a banking and finance major instead of a straight up finance major. Im assuming that it means it is more suited for banking but im not sure. The school is accredited by a regional accredation agency (southern association) and by aacsb (correct abbreviation? Im on my phone so excuse me if its wrong but i cannot check) Recognized which means it is one of the top schools in the country. So I doubt its accredidation is a problem.

Its just really odd lol. I have never really seen a banking and finance major instead of a finance major.

Some schools like to add fancy titles to their degrees to make them seems different/better but I’m pretty sure it’s just like any finance degree from any accredited school. The school I’m transferring to (Baruch) calls it investment and finance so, different names for pretty much the same thing I think.
