Hey guys i have a few questions about finance, and some non bias answers would be a great help. So i got into my school of choice recently SUNY Plattsburgh in the finance program, which is AASCB credited. I am super excited but a couple of weeks a go i was leaning towards accounting which seems to have better job oppurtunities. I really want to stick with finance because i love the ideas of banking and all that good stuff, but im a little worried about the job oppurtunities, so thats my 1st question, are there jobs for finance? and will they continue to grow? My 2nd question is to anyone who is in finance, whats the difficulty of it ? and do you enjoy finance? thank you and sorry for all the questions

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

Yes there are jobs in finance and are expected to grow dramatically over the next couple years. If you just do a google search there are tons that will come up about the projected growth rate of finance majors. If you go to bls.gov it will have even more information and specifically the expected growth rate for that career and it is pretty accurate since it is a government run agency. I am not a finance major but I have taken it and I like it because it isn’t as bland as I believe accounting to be. It is also fun because it involves risk which I really like. But you try both and see how you like most schools require you to take into courses in most every business major to get a feel on what you like the best. As far as how hard it is, if you like it will not be hard, if you don’t like it will be hard and maybe you should look down a different route.

i will definitely look into that! and thanks a ton for the help, it’s much appreciated
