What is the latest SAT date accepted by QuestBridge?

Hello there! As at the time is inquiry is being written, I am a high school senior set to graduate in May 2014. However, as a junior i was a moderate procrastinator. I had done some research for the standardized tests required for the colleges I was interested in and most of them required the SAT and 2 subject tests. So, being the slacker, i postponed my 2 subject tests till May of Junior year. I also took the SAT for the first time in June of Junior year. I came out with a 700 on Math I and a 750 on physics. For the SAT, I came out with a 2010. It is presently senior year and the due date for the Questbridge application is September 27th; however, the earliest next SAT test date is in October. This is my predicament: I wanted to take the SAT at least twice because i wanted to improve my score and obtain a better chance at getting into selective colleges. Also i wanted to re-attempt my Math I subject test because i believe i could have done a lot better. So, if it is indeed possible to have the October SAT added to my questbridge application, which should I take? The normal SAT or the Math I (and maybe Math II) subject test? (Since you can't take the SAT and the subject tests on the same day.)

Unfortunately all tests are due on September 27th, no ifs, ands or buts. I’m facing the same problem; I haven’t even taken the SAT once! I have to rely on AP scores (and perhaps PSAT if I can find a way to show them) to be selected as a finalist. It’s very upsetting. I wish there were more opportunities for the SATs.

The October SAT is the last test accepted for the National Match.

“Any testing done after October will be considered only in the Regular Decision process.”

Your SAT II’s are fines. I’d recommend retaking the SAT instead.

Zamiota, in your case, if you still want to do National Match, take the SAT in October. The reason ArtsyGirl and I thought Match may not have been worthwhile was because you were missing both SAT and SATII’s and you can only take one that would make it in time for Match. But according to the link above almost half the partner schools only need the SAT, not both the SAT and SAT II’s

Here are the schools you can rank:
Bowdoin, Colorado, Davidson, Emory, Grinnell, Northwestern, Oberlin, Scripps, Stanford, Trinity, University of Chicago, University of Notre Dame, University of Southern California, University of Virginia, Vanderbilt, Washington and Lee

Thank you.

Sorry, tomimania001, I was mistaken. I rescind my incorrect statement. :P

Okay thanks for clearing that up guys!

If you really wanted to boost your sat 2 score, you could try out the act in September and see how it goes. That way, you could take the sat 2 in October.

Or you can take the ACT WITH writing; thereby eliminating the need for SAT II’s at some schools. Many of the parter schools accept the ACT with writing. Just a thought.
