What is the least demanding type of surgeon?

<p>I know I sound kind of lazy, but I'm a girl and I do want to have a family some day, although a small one. I've wanted to be a surgeon all my life, and I have great interest in math and science. I'm not in it for the money; I genuinely want to help people.</p>

<p>So, my question is, as you know, what is the least demanding type of surgeon? Like which surgeon has the most flexible job, a job where you don't always have to stay up the whole night? I don't mind doing that 2-3 times a week, but almost everyday? I can't do that.
Plus, which surgeons have the most free time to spend with family? I know they almost never do, but relatively? </p>

<p>Perhaps a plastic surgeon but all surgeons take call and especially when you start out, you are the bottom of list so are expected to be more available. You may want to do some area of Medicine that does not have urgency, like dermatology, instead of internal medicine which also may be called a lot.</p>
