<p>Do they really look at the essay? The thing is, I wrote a decent essay but essays arent my strongest point. I am not an amazing writer but I do have great extracurriculars and grades.</p>

<p>Grades are the most important thing for all colleges. If you’re applying to public universities, they pay very little attention to essays, but choose students mainly based on gpa, scores and state of residence.</p>
<p>a01313: what type of schools are you targeting? Like NSM said, the huge majority of US colleges ONLY look at transcript and scores.</p>
