Loved Williams, but it’s in a small and isolated town. I can see how recruited athletes would love it there, but not sure about anyone else (except maybe artists).
Artists, athletes, outdoorsy folks… you don’t need to be a recruited athlete to enjoy a hike or a long walk on a nice day! Parties, performances-- just like any other college except that Williams has LOTS of resources and spends it on the student experience!

Go to the admissions office’s Connect With a Student page and read the student profiles. I bet that you find at least one student who shares some of your interests. Don’t be shy–reach out to that student or students. https://www.williams.edu/admission-aid/connect/ask-an-eph/

Look at the Instagram accounts for clubs, departments, and organizations that interest you. You can start with the list of clubs and organizations here (https://www.williams.edu/admission-aid/student-life/).

Check out the student newspaper’s weekly profile of a randomly picked student called One in Two Thousand. It’s a great way to “meet” all types of Williams students. One in Two Thousand – The Williams Record
