<p>Are you talking about undergrad or MBA? In either case, did you ever consider the fact that the students coming out of Harvard are generally smarter and more accomplished?</p>
<p>syncastar, what ur saying abt harvard is totally untrue. yes, there are some really rich kids but most are "normal" and i cant find any evidence that harvard slaves to the rich...</p>
<p>it's def true that harvard is on top of every big bank's recruiting list though. ive heard some ppl say that if u want to do ibanking u'll def get an internship after junior year and indeed every other person i know here has done it or is doing it now.. but ive also heard stories like 3.9gpa captain of water polo team or something whose brother already works at a bank not being able to even get an interview so i dont know... i am applying this year so we'll see</p>
<p>btw, a quick guideline i've heard from recruiters is that generally u need either super high gpa or ivy or ideally both. but in case u dont have either, then u have to realy stand out like start ur own business or something.</p>
