What appliances are typically included in NYU dorms (i.e. a refrig, TV, etc)?

If you are regular freshman dorm, NOT apartment style:
two desks with chairs and attached drawers
two dressers
closet/armoires
two beds that can be lifted

If you are in a regular dorm room, everything listed above plus:
refrigerator
stove
dining table with chairs
couches

If you are in a traditional dorm, you will be given the opportunity to rent/lease a microfridge.
The beds are twin xlong.
The desk has a built in light in the hutch part.
No TV’s

To clarify post 2, not all upperclassmen dorms come with that. Mine had a bunk bed, 2 desks with drawers, and a closet. The common room had a fridge, stove, cabinets, table and chairs. There were no dressers or couches or armchairs included (nor was there room for them). It varies by dorm, but don’t bring extra furniture because chances are there won’t be enough room.

You have to bring your own microwave/TV/etc

You are actually not allowed to bring extra furniture, and Housing comes into your room to check.
