What is Wharton looking for?!?!

While it's obvious that Wharton admissions officers are interested in students who have taken some initiative in the business world, this isn't always a possibility for high school students! Not everyone has the time and/or resources to start their own business over the weekends! Are there any other ways to show your interest in business? Any cool projects or clubs to start? Any ideas at all? Let me know!

What Wharton Wants

I'm sure that having business experience helps admission officers see that you're interested in business, but I don't think it's as important as some people would have you believe. In my junior year I posted a chances thread and was told Wharton was the one school I would definitely not be admitted to because I haven't shown any real interest in business. But despite my lack of experience, I was admitted into Wharton in April. Just do what you enjoy and what's possible with the resources you have - don't spend your high school career trying to impress admissions officers. It's just not worth it.

A LOT OF MATH!!!!!!

it helps a lot...

I got in! :)
