I was recently asked this question during an interview, and was just curious how other people would respond.

It means achieving your goals in a way that benefits you harmoniously/for the greater good of yourself and others. It is the ability for you and others to appreciate your work.

Becoming someone I admire. Very circuitous, I know.

Right now, it involves being named Larry Wall.
Or ascending a foodless polyselfless atheist in NetHack.
Or any number of other things. I'll probably only realize they stimulate my admiration when I actually hear about them.

reaching a level of self actualization, constantly, always doin your best, and never settling for a worse effort on your own part.

Being happy/proud with what you have accomplished in life, having others look up to you.

That's what I can think.

success
i think its getting to the point where you dont look back anymore

accomplishing a goal i set beforehand.

Being a Senior Member on College Confidential

...no but really, i'd say Eternal Happiness

having a super hot girlfriend.

mucho dinero y chica freako.

Become a pimp!

Money, of course. What else?

I was just thinking about this question last night actually and decided it was definitely not defined by money. I would say making an impact on the lives of others and achieving my long term goals.

Have a harem!

Success is the accomplishment of your rational values.

being happy and achieving your goals

being able to die without an ounce of regret.

what i said during the interview: When you stop working for money, and money starts working for you.

Kind of off the lines of success is defined in monetary terms, but I probably could have been more detailed with the personal success side if I had time to think about it more.

being happy!!
