Mine is to get into UCLA and major in computer science, then go to a great medical school while working part time on a software that will revolutionize the world (won't happen) if somehow it did happen i would quit medical school and become the next bill gates... Since most likely it wont I will continue medical school and become an orthopedic surgeon. I willl continue programming in my free time while opening my own practice.... then i will buy an apartment in new york and party.....

I’m not sure what my overall goal is in particular, I just know, as self asorbed as it may be, I want to change the world. I haven’t quite decided how, and whether for good or not, but I want to make a huge impact somehow, perferably through writing.

I want to get in a decent school for undergrad (I’m thinking Bennington.) and maybe transfer after two years depending on the school majoring in English. After that grad school, then to perferably University of Iowa’s MFA program in Creative Writing and get my doctarate eventually too.

Well, I’m not sure what I want to do with my life. I think about it a LOT, but I haven’t the slightest clue. For a couple months though, I’ve wanted to follow this path:

Go to a competitive undergrad school and major in marketing (or something business related as somewhat of a fall back). Then go to a T14 law school (UVA please?). Enter the Army’s JAG Corps and serve my country for 5-10 years, then leave the military and become a prosecutor.

I also would possibly go into the corporate world somewhere. It’d be a steady paycheck, 9-5, and I’m pretty sure I could do well. I think that might be a blah life though. Work would not define me in the same way being a prosecutor would. It would be just a way to make money.

My ultimate fallback would be being a history teacher in my high school. I think that would be fine and satisfying.

I’ve always had a passion in CS ever since I started learning C in 5th grade, and I am greatly interested in orthopedic surgery mainly because I have broken all of my fingers, both wrists, shattered my elbow, and broken a toe. Each time I went to my orthopedic surgeon because of my injuries I loved the job and looking at my X-rays so I wanted to have a career in that department…

One day I was choosing between the two and ended up thinking why not both? so that’s when I decided my plan… Parents disagree with it though because they say it will be harder to score higher on my MCAT and get into a good medical school…

This is weird, we have A LOT in common. I want my B.A to be in Computer Science but using it in the chemistry field or wherever I get a job. MBA and LLM after that. Btw, Bill Gates is the man. He’s cocky and snobby but he knows how to make a dream come true.

Haha wow mine is actually really diff… Umm let’s see… First I want to conquer the many countries of the world, lead way to space exploration, make my mark, and become the new ruler of the Galactic Empire. GE for short (I will pulverize the company and steal the copyright).

I want to go to American U and become a French and Communications major with a second major in Secondary Education. Then after I graduate… I want to teach French in a high school in DC. With the worst schools in the nation… they need the most help. =/

-undergrad at a respectable school, for history. atleast two semesters in europe.
-masters at an ivy league
-start teaching highschool
-publish some stuff
-earn doctorate from an ivy
-publish more crap
-teach at a respectable/ivy university.

My dream is to go to Dartmouth and major in linguistics, while all the while studying and becoming fluent in two or more languages. Then go get my Ph.D in linguistics at a prestigious school. Then, I’d like to travel the world researching languages and studying the culture behind the language, before returning home and becoming a professor.

However, the chances of that happening are slim to none; instead I’ll probably end up a biology/linguistics double major who studies abroad and travels on the side after I’ve gotten my MD/Ph.D (in physiology) and become an anesthesiologist. I guess either would be pretty great.

linguistics seems like an awesome major as well. i’ve considered it, maybe i should do some more research on it. i forgot something as part of “my dream” - become fluent in french and have elementary knowledge of latin.

I have a lot of random, and unrelated dreams, and they change frequently… My more relevant ones, right now…

Become fluent in Spanish, learn Arabic, Farsi, and Yiddish.

Using those linguistic skills, have the NSA pay for my college, and then work for them for awhile. Maybe go to grad school once my time’s up if I’m not entirely happy.

Write a novel.

Make up a word that gets in dictionaries – writing a book seems to be a pretty efficient way of accomplishing this. (like Catch 22, Pollyanna, Grok)

Write for SNL.

Go to UVA law and become some sort of public heath/science-related lawyer, or an education lawyer.

Go to UChicago to grad school.

lolol. I dare someone to have more different/random goals.

Go to either Berkeley, Cornell, Yale, or Harvey Mudd for Undergrad.
Go to one of these schools or another top school for Grad school.
Invent something/ start a company that gives me millions/ leaves a mark on this earth.
Donate a **** load to charity. Retire and become an active member in helping the world be a better place. Including missionary trips, or just volunteering at the local rehabilitation centers.

Don’t waste the money. Have a decent but not huge house, have two kids and a loving husband. Have a timeshare in hawaii and a cabin in the Colorado mountains.

I’m sure there’s more but there’s my dream. aha
Even without the unrealistic company/ invention I can do everything else including donate to charities. I will do something that will leave a mark on this earth. I’m determined of it. :)

… my dream is to travel the world, marry rich, and own a villa on the French Riviera. In that order. Ooh, and have lots of kids (adopted or otherwise) that I can dress up in Betsey Johnson-esque outfits.

Barring the first part not happening, though, I’d really like to end up as either a lawyer or a fashion stylist. Hah.
