sometimes, it's nice to have a busy schedule because it makes me feel like i have a purpose early on in life but at the same time, it's draining most, if not all, of my energy. i have virtually no free time with the schedule i have now.

wake up 6:20 am
7-2:15 school
2:15-3:15 in school research
3:15-4:00 newspaper/scholastic bowl/lit magazine, depending on which day
4-5 fitness center/shower afterwards
5:30-11 work
11:10 get home, do hw til 1 am

i do APUSH/AP euro reading on weekends so that saves me a lot of time during the week, even though i usually work 6 hours per day on weekends as well. as a result, i have no time to just sit down and relax because every hour of the day, i'm doing something that i feel must be done.

10:00- back home, finnishing any last minute homework, showering, eating, snoozing by 11:00(I really need my sleep, I don't know how you all go without it!)

yeah. if i don't have a busy schedule than i don't get any work done.

1/2-3 1/2 hrs of hw in each subject (5 classes)

...i always feel like i'm leaving out something...

EDIT(i figured out what it was!):
school newspaper:
20 min meetings 2 days a week
1-5 the sunday before going to print
lunch (45 minutes) everyday up until sending it off to print

6 AM: Wake up
7 AM - 3 PM (at school)
3 PM - 4:30 PM (transport from school to home with elementary school as relay. Much wasted time; even though I do read on the bus; I can't make up for it all with all the distractions). Perhaps I should just wear earplugs and read Machiavelli though I'm next to asleep during this time. Oh yeah, active reading! active notetaking! I'm just so lazy.
4:30 PM - 10: 30 PM - at home, studying or doing various useless things.
10:3o PM: collapse on floor, sleepwalk to bed.

Yet I still frequently procrastinate and don't get all my work done. I don't really have any ECs so I have more than 6 hours to complete my HW and I take it all for granted, without fully appreciating the time. If I break it up, I might appreciate the time more. Maybe delegating 4:30 - 5: 30 PM to AP Physics C self-study (OMG, almost November and I still haven't started, though thankfully, my calculus textbook also covers some AP Physics C concepts).

Ah yes, SIMUW. Thanks for the information. Heard of it but forgot a long time; should apply to it this year!
