What is your high school famous for?

The current val's family has over seven cars.

Seriously why would anybody need that many? shakes head

My school is full of rich kids, but only the snobby ones bother me. I got a used car for my 16th, so I guess I'm only half of that type of person you all seem to hate. ;)

My school has famous alumni - Rosie O'Donnell and Bob Costas
That's the extent of our fame =)

two girls said vagina in a coffee house after being told not to. They went on Oprah after...

Dana Scully.

That's our claim to fame.

My high school is known for being the most corrupted and worst private high school in SoCal. The school only cares about making money and demanding that parents put in some volunteer hours or else they'll have to pay fines. It's such a disgrace to the Catholic religion. As my friend always says, "The reason why there is pain and suffering in the world is because Jesus can't get his mind off how to punish our school for being so bent on making money."

Steve Spurrier went to my high school way back in the 60s.

we were on CNN last year for high asian population/overachieving stressed people.

random tourists from taiwan and china tour our school and take pictures

we go to ocience science bowl, science bowl, quiz bowl nationals almost every year (this year was bad though >_< scibowl failed miserably and quiz bowl decided not to go because even though we qualified)

we have like 90-something percentage of graduates go to college.

all nerdy/academic ****

we're famed in our district/area for having the worst football team ever. this season varisty scored 1 touchdown. against an incomplete team that wasn't even a game. our frosh team games go somethng like this 0-56, 0-77)

almost every kid/adult that live within a 100 mile radius of our school have heard rumors about us (i find this to be hilarious.)

now for something actually intersting..
kristi yamaguchi graduated from our school

Alums: Hillary Clinton, Harrison Ford, Derrick Kosinski from Mtv's Road Rules

We founded Tri-M, which is the music honor society

We were ranked in America's Top 5 Percent of high schools by Newsweek for the past 2 years

My school is barely known in the neighboring towns... That was painfully brought into focus during my camp, because they'd ask me where I was from, and I'd say name... They'd name somewhere 10 miles away and say, "where's that?"
Argh.
We're famous for having placed in Envirathon for the past 4 years (3rd place out of 11 national teams this year!!!) and we have won States at least once in each sport (I think. We might be missing golf, girls basketball, girl's cross country.)

Mitt Romney, Bob Woodruff, Scott McNealy

Beautiful campus

Great college counseling.

Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, MI

My school's famous alumni:
Northfield Mount Hermon School - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

hehe.

Natalie Portman went to my high school.... My AP Bio teacher talked about her when I asked once. Apparently she could pull of studying in between filming sessions and got around 90-95's on his tests.

She is actually smart, unlike some other movie stars.

Random, I just remembered our physics teacher is married to Katie Holmes' sister. Yeah, not something we're famous for but something interesting to talk about when we're incredibly bored in physics.

Random. I just remembered our physics teacher is married to Katie Holmes' sister. Not something that makes us famous, but something really interesting to talk about when we're bored. Inevitably though it always dwindles into some kind of attack on Tom Cruise/Scientology.

Note: My post above might've posted like 5 times because my internet spazzed.
