What is your high school famous for?

<p>rumor has it we have the largest yearbook in the nation. it's huge.</p>

<p>Oldest secondary education school west of the Mississippi river, and the best high school in our state. :)</p>

<p>Being almost completely mediocre except for some good teachers/counselors.
It's like #620 something in the country, lol</p>

And in the area, we're known as a nerd school. Our math team is great.</p>

<p>My old high school: We had a major food fight once, and there is a facebook group called "I am one of the few people who graduated from CHS who is not addicted to meth"</p>

<p>My new high school: Over half the cars in the parking lot are BMW/Mercs/Audi/Volvo/Lexus, yacht parties, being stuck up and snobby</p>

<p>umm, i know mine is in the top 100 on the newsweek list. we also had a big fight on 9/11, someone was stabbed i think. and the original cowboy from the village people went to my school!</p>

<p>-The show High School Confidential which was on the WE channel was taped at my school about some girls at my school.</p>

<p>-My school has the lowest median household income of the district at $129,000. (just goes to show the area)</p>

<p>Herman Melville graduated from my school! Besides the fact it was created in the early 1800s, there's nothing else special. This school sucks. Bleh. Public schools in my area have better teachers, a MUCH stronger math program, intensive program for "gifted/talented," way better athletics program (we suck ass), and much more diversity. Oh, the teachers at public schools actually are likable.</p>

<p>my school is:
1. one of the best international schools in switzerland (...that could be debated lol...)
2. having the snobbiest kids EVER. at the moment they are trying to introduce uniforms to our school and every student has the same complaint, "how can you expect us to make it from our school to geneve centre in a uniform. the public school kids will kill us." i disagree but i mean the public school kids really do hate us and i dont know why haha
3. nothing to be exactly PROUD of but Kobe Bryant went to my school throughout hs & ms lol so our basketball team think they are all so amazing haha</p>

we have a large planetarium, a george w bush appointed deputy secretary of the US Department of Health + Human Services who went to dartmouth and yale.. and fernando guerrero, a famous boxer went here.</p>

<p>Our school initials are N.A., and apparently in the 90s, we were Narcotics Anonymous.</p>
