What is your life like after school?

What is it like? I wonder if I am not studying hard enough lulz.

What is this "life" you speak of?

(Pulls up the window, actually closes the SAT prep book)

"Life'', does it really exist?

Usually I play NetHack and talk to people and do random crazy stuff.

Maybe around ten I'll start actually working. And then around three, I'll start wondering why I started working at ten.

I think this only works on pass-fail.

Umm well this is the "easy EC" part of the year for me because Marching Band is over. Some days I have to stay after school for Math Team, but that's only sparingly.

Generally I come home right after school and relax/watch tv/play comp games for 1 or 2 hours, then I start homework/study SAT/practice Clarinet.

After school: Track practice, homework/aim, city college (3 days a week), homework/aim, dinner, homework/aim, late night studying.

My life after school:

3:15 - School ends, Varsity basketball starts.

5:15 - Basketball ends, Weight lifting starts.

7:15 - I get home, eat dinner, help out around the house.

8 - Watch t.v, relax and go to sleep.

I do not study, nor do homework at home. I get straight A's with a rigorous course load. I just use my time efficiently in my study hall and lunch periods and i don't waste time playing "nethack" or any of that aim stuff. If you wanted to socialize, do it at school.

during the tennis season, my life was dominated by tennis, and I didn't get home until 8 most nights...

But now :)

2 hours right after school--do nothing but relax and listen to music
eat dinner
homework
TV
more homework
sleep
REPEAT

During the band season:
2:15 - school ends
2:15-3:00 - hang out in the band room or go to another club meeting, maybe do homework
3:00-6:00 - practice
6:00-7:30 - relax, nap, slack off
7:30-8:00 - dinner
8:00-10:30 - homework
10:30 onwards - shower and sleep

Post-band season:
2:15 - school ends
2:15-3:00 - maybe stay behind for a club meeting. Otherwise, loiter in school until 3:00 anyway
3:00-7:30 - I actually have no recollection of what I usually do during this time period, which is to say that I probably don't do anything productive
7:30-8:00 - eat dinner
8:00-10:30 - homework (if any)
10:30 onwards - shower, sleep

Yeah I don't do jack after school unless there's an EC or something and HW usually takes 1 hour so I have plenty of time to do nothing. I'll hit the gym 3-4 times a week but I don't do sports so I don't have to be intense about it.

The trick is to snag leadership positions in EC's that don't take up too much time, and to be able to do work quickly and accurately.

Not counting swim season:

6:00 - get home (I live about 2 hours away from my school)
6:00-7:00 - eat dinner, shower
til 8:00 or 9:00 - waste time on some combo of CC, email, Facebook, etc.
then I usually start homework around 9 and am in bed between 10 and 11. I do a lot of work on my way to school (that's where the long commute comes in handy).

It all seems to be a blur after I get off the bus around 4. I usually pass out as soon as I get home and then wake up when my mom gets home, though I usually won't take a nap if I have to stay after school for something and I get home at 6. I can't even imagine how this would look schedule-wise during the robotics season.

Arrive >> Nap >> Dinner >> Internet >> Assigned Homework >> Internet >> Sleep

I don't have any schedule as to how I do my "self-assigned homework" but I try to put in at least an hour a day for ACT Prep, working on scholarship/summer program applications, college research/prep, and other non-required school stuff. I can usually do this at school though, so it equates to more than an hour.

Procrastination? :D

p-izzle...I worship you. SHARE YOUR SECRETS!

Mondays: debate from 3-5
tuesdays: hospital from 4-7
wednesdays: hebrew from 6-8
thursdays: debate from 3-5
fridays: i tutor from 4-7

i also volunteer in the MC everyday before school for an hour.
and i have debate tournaments for about 7 hours on saturdays.
and i have hebrew for an hour on sundays.

who else doesn't have a real social life? lol

During the winter sports season... (now)
School ends 2:08
Come home Wednesday and Friday, but I've got stuff after school Mon, Tues and Thurs
Usually nap for about an hour
Homework
Dinner
Homework, or nap if I don't have any left
~7 30-11 30 is ice hockey practice (with lots of driving time included, ugh)

During fall and spring sports
2:08 schools ends
ECs til 3 everyday
3-5 Track/Field hockey practice
Come home, eat dinner, do homework, chill out, sleep ASAP
(I love sleep, that's pretty much all I do if I ever have free time)

I come home, put some real clothes on (I go to Catholic school), and then go ride BMX with my friends until I feel like coming in (usually an hour or two after it gets dark), or until I'm forced to because the cops are after us. They have nothing better to do in this town, and love to give fines for **** like riding on private property, riding with an iPod, riding without brakes, and riding on the sidewalks downtown. After I get home, I heat up some food and get on the computer. Mabye some TV in there too. I seldom bring any books or homework home. I get a lot done during study hall, and I get ok grades.
