What is your major?

And what are your future career goals?

1st question: Math and physics combined specialist program.
2nd question: Professor.

English Literature and Psycology

Lawyer (And hopefully a Judge one day) or a professor

Piano Performance (BM) & History (BA)- double degree program

After undergrad- grad school for Piano Performance & Pedagogy (hopefully MM & DM/DMA), then piano teaching and some performing I hope

History, with a concentration in twentieth century American social history, c. 1900-1930. I’m considering pursuing a minor in American Studies to supplement my history degree.

I want to work in historic preservation and archives, earn my doctorate in history, and ultimately become a professor.

Environmental Biology

I’m still looking through my options. Possibly environmental law, urban planning, government, environmental consulting… etc. Then there’s the grad school –> professor route.

Intended major: Biology
Future plan: I want to become a doctor. However, med school is getting a lot harder to get into each year, so it’d probably be smart for me to double major or minor and have a backup plan… =/

Psychology and Consumer Science.

Ideally I’d like to become a psychologist, but if I don’t do grad school I’ll probably do something business-related.

Intend to major in Management Information Systems

Plans: Hell if I know. Probably start off working for some consulting company like most grads in the major do, then hopefully go and do something actually fulfilling. I have these fantasies in my head of doing some sort of cybersecurity work for the FBI or DHS, think Edgar or Chloe from 24 (yes I know that’s not an accurate portrayal of actual work lol). Or serving in the military, preferably in intelligence or electronic warfare. If the MIS degree doesn’t work out (because I have to apply for it) I’m majoring in criminology and criminal justice and hopefully doing something with that, possibly law enforcement (or, again, the military).

Major: Microbiology with a potential double minor in molecular biology and neuroscience or English and neuroscience as my courses already fulfill the molecular biology minor.
I’d want to go to pharmacology school (hopefully Yale or Columbia) and become a pharmacologist, or more specifically neuropharmacologist. Or teach one day. And someday squeeze in time to do a little writing.

Biology- until I find a better science major that I like.

Doctor- maybe a specialist.

Undecided and unknown.

B.S. Computer Science – minor in Geographic Information Science

Government Intelligence / Cybersecurity

psychology

Computer Science

Cybersecurity analyst for private company or government

It’s funny that RioBravo mentioned 24, because that show actually influenced me more that cybersecurity was the right field for me. I could only imagine working for CTU lol!

Major: Expeditionary Studies
Intended Career: Military Special Operations/ Alaskan Back-country Guide

Major is Computer Science
And for a job I want to be a software engineer ^^ programming and what not.

Ideally I’d like to be an author though…so I might try to write books at some point

Major: Biology/Pre-med
Hope to become a pharmacist

Advertising. I want to work in account management and eventually work my way up to an executive position.

Major: Mechanical Engineering
Career: Being a boss
