Moderate Democrat.

Voting for McCain.

Moderate Democrat.

Voting for McCain.

democrat, voting for obama

I'm not registered to vote, and therefore carry no party affiliation.

I'd probably hit up the GOP so I could jam to that Jay-Z song. What is it called? "Black Republican"? Yup.

Although I lean conservative, McCain's brownnosing to President Bush isn't cool with me. I mean, he allowed Karl Rove to spread a lie about his adopted daughter from Bangledesh, Repub primary voters hearing that he had an illegitimate black daughter. And J-Mac doesn't make me feel good, if that intangible is a valid measure of a candidate's ability. Obama does, and I would vote for him if I could.

That' said, I'd be Republican although both parties are screwed up. If you're a minority in the Democratic Party everything just slides by, but in the Republican Party you're a sore thumb. Just don't call me Clarence Thomas, and don't even mention Alan Keyes.

People always peg me for a bleeding heart liberal but I'm actually rather moderate leaning more towards conservative values. I can see myself as a Republican.

I think the political parties are flawed and full of corruption, so I would say I an Independent.

However, when it comes to personal beliefs, I am socially liberal while fiscally conservative.

Eck, political parties. I disagree with the two major ones, and the minor ones are far too numerous to name.

Ideologically I'm a classical liberal; on the left/right dichotomy I'm uber-left non-fiscally and somewhat right fiscally.

When I register, it will probably be as an independent or under the green party or something. Depending on where I live, I'll probably either vote for a third party or, if in a swing state, for the dem/rep that I disagree with least.

I hear a lot of Democrats crossing party lines to vote for McCain.

The typical American voter needs to be educated more before he/she votes. Too many people think Obama's Jesus F. Kennedy Christ or Barack Allah Muhammad Obama bin Laden.

Hell, the typical American voter needs to be educated more before he or she talks. It'd do wonders for my blood pressure.

Are these people who voted for Clinton during the primaries? If so, I would say these are probably the least informed, and, in some cases, the most prejudiced Americans you could possibly encounter. How does it make sense to vote for a candidate whose platform is the complete opposite of your own especially when you have the choice of voting for a candidate whose platform is almost exactly the same as your own?

All the confused middle/working class white people who say they will vote for McCain deserve to get what's coming to them.

MelancholyDane:

I totally agree with you.

Republican because all the cool presidents were Republican. =)

And there's a lot of republicans who are crossing party lines to vote for Obama. Even Republicans hate Bush and many believe that that is what a McCain term is going to be like.

IMO, I don't think either of them will do a good job.

I'm an ignoramus, I don't know anything about politics. I don't even know there are Independent and Liberation parties other than Democrats and Republicans.

^ ROFL. You made me laugh.

I really don't agree with either of the candidates this year. Obama - issue with experience. McCain - bah, Republicans. Ron Paul, where are you?

I can't say I pay a whole lot of attention to politics. I only really know about Obama, McCain, and Clinton (she's not in anymore, but . . .).
Ron Paul?!?! Who is that?!?!

^ I'm trying to figure out if you're being sarcastic or not =/
But for the benefit of the doubt, I present to you my pick for president.
The Committee to Re-Elect Ron Paul - 2007

Yes. He is congressman for -my- state ;D

Ditto...Liberation party? I thought I walked into an exotic drugstore.

Oh and I have no idea who Ron Paul is either. Probably one of my best friend's mother's wife's cousin's sister's brother's son's father.

Ron Paul is not of the "Liberation" Party, he's a Libertarian, meaning the most far-left you can get. He might seem more liberal than Democrats at times, though, but that's because the current GOP as we know it isn't actually conservative.

I never claimed he was Liberation party, anyhow...

And thank you for showing how smart you are with your ambiguous jargon that had no real meaning...I appreciate it.

I wasn't replying to you. Why do you always think I'm replying to you? When I do, there'll be a ">Invoyable." Jesus Christ.
