What political party do you guys relate to/are a part of?

Independent, because both political parties are so corrupted that they're really not all that different.

I am liberal though.

Independent, because I don't like either of the parties.

I consider myself a moderate because I have both conservative and liberal views on different issues. I would say I'm more conservative because I put gun control in the top of my list.

Since Obama isn't much better than McCain, I'd vote for McCain if I was old enough.

Independent as well.
I would also say I'm a moderate, maybe leaning a little on the liberal side.

If I could vote, I wouldn't vote for Obama or McCain.

i abhor party politics. You can't make change by enacting a bunch of laws or voting for someone else. You have to make change yourself. Libertarian.

I swear, people always gotta be different these days. "How dare anyone do anything remotely main stream".

Democrat, moderate politically.

Cause I'm ballin'

America has the best political system in the world. If you think anything big is wrong with our system you clearly don't know that anything else is either idiotic idealism or even worse.

That doesn't make sense... Why wouldn't you vote for the candidate you think is better?

Probably why...?

To the original question, no idea, really, my knowledge of politics is like, gruesome. I've never taken a course related to government or anything of the sort, let alone read something about politics.

Somewhere between moderate and libertarian.

If I have to break that down though, I'm an economic republican and social democrat.

Another independent.

Democrat. It's useless in New York State (or any other closed primary state, for that matter) to not be registered with a party because you cannot vote in the primaries.

Hardcore Democrat... Because it makes sense to me. If smaller parties mattered (e.g. Independent, Green, etc), I'd probably be one of those instead.

Libertarian, but Barr doesn't seem too different from McCain, so I'll probably be voting for Ron Paul.

I identify a lot with Libertarian views, but I'm not going to affiliate myself with the party.'

I'll stay independent for life, because there are great presidents who were from different parties. I thought 2004 would bring a good turn around in politics, but instead the DNC picks John Kerry.

More Democrat than anything else, but I'm not sure I'll register when I turn 18 because I'm not completely opposed to voting for a Republican. For me, it's not so much loyalty to the Democratic Party as much as it is that I just usually agree with Democrats more, because I'm very liberal socially.

Libertarian ideals all the way, but I'm not affiliated with the party and never will be. Very fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Small government, yeah..

Democrat...I'm very liberal.

Even though it's trendy to be an independent this year, I am confident enough in my own political independence to admit that I identify most strongly with and have voted almost exclusively for the Democratic Party.

Republican...although I disagree with a lot of the foreign policies as practiced by our current (and some former) administrations.

The Republican party mandates that people take personal responsibility for their own lives...a remarkable and controversial stance in this day and age.
