What is your reason for wanting to go to Harvard?

And yes, I do think Harvard is overrated. My friend just got accepted there. He told me how easy it was during the summer course he took with real Harvard students, how the math class was a joke but some kids were either so lazy or stupid that they'll fail every test but still manage a B. Grade inflation for the win!

I was at Harvard Summer School last summer, and I can't say that I noticed the same phenomenon. I worked hard for Intensive Intro to Computer Science, often staying up late to finish the assignments. Even though I have a 2400 SAT in one sitting and consider math/science my strength, I ended up getting a B in the class. Judging by the amount of work I put in, classes at Harvard having grade inflation just doesn't seem plausible to me.

And dude, most Harvard under and grad students I've met openly acknowledge that they think Yale and Princeton have better under.

Why 80% of students continue to choose Harvard over other schools, despite you saying that most of them "openly acknowledge" that other schools have better undergraduate programs? It can't be the prestige for all of these students, especially when schools such as Yale, Princeton, or MIT are almost as or equally prestigious.

Considering how bogus so much of evolutionary psychology is, the less the teacher adhered to it, the more credible the course would be!

Cambridge with all of Boston $1.25 away on the T is college student Nirvana. And the extracurricular mania is unparalleled. Undergrads put on shows, produce periodicals, and start and manage agencies that put many of their professional and adult-run counterparts to shame.

It's now $2.00. Boston caught up with New York pretty quickly.
