Why did you apply to Harvard?

Just curious on ya'lls feelings toward Harvard .

It’s Harvard.

That pretty much summed it up for me, too.

They would give me money

challenge accepted.

Good financial aid, good neurobiology program/science program in general, good research opportunities, and good location.

Agree, it’s harvard.

yep, same here

Good college, awesome challenge, Boston=win, and if I get in I’ll consider it, though I probably won’t go. Figured I had nothing to lose.

More elaborate (a short why I want to go):

Wonderful school (everyone states). Has a beautiful campus, along with a very supportive environment. Heard a lot about their undergraduate system (where they provide a lot of assistance to freshmen, and give advice etc).

Financial aid. They give full-ride to those who are below 50k? (might be wrong), thus another reason why I applied.

Brother- Will be convenient for me if I go to the same college as my brother (costs for plane etc. also for my family). Also, we can help each other along the way (like waking up, etc.)

Top professors, learn a lot from peers, etc. The usual standards that exist in other ivy leagues

Amazing financial aid, and a challenging program that will get rid of the procrastinator inside of me.

Also I want to show my parents (grads of Moscow State University) that I accomplished something; that they didn’t leave their native country for me to not take advantage of my opportunities.

60k i think… ^^

That is hard to get rid of even at Harvard!

^ Yeah, I think procrastinators are stuck with that quality for life.
