Could someone please help me answer this? I am interested in studying creative writing at a top school
Why do you need a top school for writing?
Edit: To clarify – why are you only looking at a specific athletic conference of “top schools”? I’d understand looking for a school that excels in writing, but why is “top school” primary and “best at writing” secondary?
Well I believe all schools are good, and I was interested in researching some. @bodangles
@writer80 if you’re interested in playwriting and creative writing, check out Brown University in Providence Rhode Island.
My daughter is a sophomore there and she is reading three to four new plays a week as part of her work with Sock and Buskin, Brown’s faculty-student run theater board. She is also constantly writing and work-shopping new plays. There are lots of student actors, directors and writers at Brown.
A blurb from Wiki:
Six Brown Graduates won Pulitzer Prizes this year:
Daveed Diggs '04, Alissa J. Rubin '80, Peter Balakian '80 PhD, Kathryn Schulz '96, Stephen Karam '02 and Michael Corkery '97.
Thank you so much! I will totally look into it!! Wish your daughter good luck. @arwarw
Thanks again!! @arwarw
