Hey everyone,
I am a 22-year-old female that currently resides in Washington state, I will be graduating June 2018 with my associate’s degree in general studies, I know that an AA isn’t really much, but I will need to get a job eventually (I will get into that soon). A couple months ago I left my job for school so that I could put all my focus on my studies.
This is my plan that I have set so far…
- Transfer to a University in the city of Seattle (start school fall 2018)
- Get a job in Seattle (hopefully with my degree), I am looking for a little pay raise with my AA, one dollar or two if that’s even possible, but I kind of doubt it! haha
I’ve only ever had TWO JOBS my entire life. Retail was my first job that I worked from age 18 to 21 the other one was fast food which I have only worked there for one month (never again)
I want to study accounting and hopefully earn my BA in accounting from the University, but in between school and work, I will obviously need to try to intern as much as I can.
I am also thinking about working part time (weekends only) and intern during the week along with school so that I can continue to focus on my studies.
I don’t need to work full time because I will not have any bills to pay at all, but I do want to work so I can save my pocket change and add experience to my resume to make myself look like a great competitor once I graduate with my BA.
Thoughts? Advice?
