I’m majoring in mechanical engineering and was wondering what calculator would be ideal for me. I currently have a TI-84 Plus C Edition. Any input would be helpful, thank you
Would you need anything more advanced than that?
Look at some of the syllabi of classes you will take next year and see if they require anything.
You should be fine with what you have.
If you need something more, it won’t be right away. Ask the upperclassmen when you get to school.
If you need something less (for a prof that does not allow graphing calculators on tests), look at the TI 36X Pro or the TI-30XS Multiview.
