I have been taking some of the most challenging courses that the school has to offer. But here is the thing, with a combination of personal health issues and complicating family obligations I left school in the middle of sophomore year, and had to repeat the year. So essentially I will finish high school in 5 years instead of 4. Also my weighted GPA without sophomore year would be a 4.025 but with it I have like a 3.79. So I was thinking maybe you guys can give me an idea of what kind of colleges I can get into with my stats.
*My brother is a junior at Harvard right now, so how will that affect me if I do in fact apply to Harvard.</p>
<p>i forgot about extra curricular activities. I played soccer freshman year. Member of the Asian Club. I run and teach at an English summer camp in China over the summer.</p>

<p>You will definitely get into the majority of schools you apply to. Harvard will be a big stretch with a GPA under 4.4, so you will probably be rejected</p>

With those grades it shouldnt be that hard to get into a really good college even if it isnt harvard. I wish I could have your grades and not be too worried about my future right now.</p>
<p>If you explain in your essays why your GPA is low, you will have the same chance as anyone else getting in.
And that 4.4 GPA thing is ridiculous. You don't need a 4.4 to get in.</p>
