I am not the best in the field of Math; I am curious to know what is taught in Business Mathematics. Thanks.

I am not sure what is taught in your business mathematics class. However, you might have to take a business statistics class, it might be slightly difficult for you. This is not to scare you; just work hard and you’ll be fine.

As far as accounting goes, there is a misconception that accountants are great at math. When I tell people I’m an accounting major, they often respond, “Wow, you must love math!” or “You must be good at math.” I’m decent at math - I hit my “ceiling” in Calculus 2. However, accounting requires a solid grasp of arithmetic and algebraic concepts, no more. It is heavily rules-based, and it requires critical-thinking and analytical skills to solve some problems.

Its the most annoying thing in the world! That or “oh so you can do my taxes when you graduate!” Yes, because thats what everyone who studies accounting does. Do personal income taxes…
