Are you friends with your teachers?
Do you hardly talk to them?
Do they even know your name?

It depends on which teacher.

There are couple teachers that don't know how to say my name (I have a quite unusual name...). Like my English teacher this year, I talked to her three or four times total in the past four month, and I doubt she knows my name.

There are some teachers that I actually try to avoid. Like this math teacher I had once, and my former band director. I only talk to them when I absolutely have no other choices.

I don't think I am friends with any of my teachers. I only talk to them about things that are class related.

As manatee said, it depends on which teacher.

I have a great relationship with my Chemistry teacher from last year, and still talk to him nowadays. I talk to my math teacher too, when I can find his bald head. Other teachers though, ugh, I try to avoid as much as possible (cough cough english teachers). This year, I don't really talk to any of my teachers unless I really really have to. Cause they're not all that fond of me and I'm not that fond of them either, haha.

No, I'm not friends with my teachers. No, I doubt they know my name. They always get confused with the asians.

Well, depends on the teacher!

There's one or two teachers who still doesn't know exactly how to spell my name..but they get it close enough so I don't bother pointing it out anymore. Besides, those are the teachers that get everyone's name wrong somehow.

But there are a couple of teachers (like 3) from soph year that I'm friends with so I drop by to talk to them about random things. There's aren't any teachers that I'm friends with from this year..but maybe that's only because it's only half way through the year!

The rest of the teachers...I say hi to them, if I have something like related to their class or subject I'll stop by and chat (like if we learned something interesting in history, I'll tell my APUSH teacher from last year when I see her in the hallways)
I like most of my teachers and I talk a lot in most of my classes so I have a good relationship with my teachers! I'm not always friends with them..but it's a good relationship nonetheless.

There's like 2 teachers maybe that I really don't like..but I try to hide that around them haha! It works pretty well..I just like secretly dislike them on the inside.

2 teachers think I'm god's gift, the rest are meh,

I'm friendly with all my teachers and they all know me. I make small talk etc. For the most part, my teachers treat us all as adults and as equals. I went bowling and out to dinner a few weeks ago with two teachers and some other students and it was just like hanging out with anyone else.

hmm....like galestorm except I don't hang with them on weekends.

Last year, I was really close with all of my teachers except for English.

This year... English teacher is a ****, Latin's pretty cool, Precalc isn't a people person, APUSH is kinda scary, and Chem is a perv. Great year right?

Sexual.

JK. I make an effort to get to know the teachers that I like. They usually like that in a big public school. =]

Some of them.

Some of them.

Most of them.

I've only had one teacher who probably didn't like me in class and that was my physics teacher. I'm totally okay with that too, because I really deserved it. I self-studied SAT II physics and I knew I wasn't to learn anything new. I'm not trying to be arrogant, but physics at my school = basic dynamics, plus waves. No electricity, circuits, etc. I came into class every day and just put my head down and slept. So did my friend who sat next to me. Sometimes we did collaborative doodles. But I digress.

Some teachers -- all my Spanish teachers, for example -- like me in class and then I never talk to them again except for saying "hola" every so often.

However, I have awesome relationships with some of my teachers. I consider my APUSH teacher and two of my English teachers to be the best friends I've had in high school. I'm actually having trouble writing them thank-you notes for their letters of recommendation because I just want to start gushing over how much they've impacted me over the last four years. Then they'd read them and be like, "wtf?" I know that sounds weird/creepy, but whatever.

I'd go into detail about them, but I'm trying to write a scholarship essay that's due tomorrow, lol.

Oh, and EVERYBODY at school knows me, even if I don't know them. It's kinda creepy sometimes. I've had teachers I've never had come up to me and say things like "Oh hey ______, I was just talking about you with teacher X about this one thing you did blah blah blah."

I have two teachers for every subject (they alternate days) and I'm close to all of them. Except maybe my new chem teacher. She has a "strong" personality. The teacher I'm closest to though has never taught me in class - he's my MUN director. Ironically, my brother hates him with a passion :p

AP euro = loves me (very hot, maybe a sexual relationship;) jkjk...
alg2/trig = meh
Ap bio = meh
spanish 3 = loves me

anatomical architecture = meh
chemistry = loves me (very hot)
english = Ok i guess
anatomy = Ok i guess

just a bunch of loving mehs

i'm really good friends with my APUSH.. he's my soccer coach. I hug him often but only as friends. he's good with my whole class.. this one girl texts him. by the way he's only 30 and looks like a student and he trips people in the hallway and winks at random people...lol yup that's my crazzi coach

Alg 3: She thinks I'm stupid because I got a D in her class last trimester, only time I ever talk to her is when I'm getting help or feel I need to suck up.

English: Talk to her a lot, since she's my advisor as well. "Friends," no, but we're only 6 years apart in age so we get along great. Definitely asking her for a rec this fall.

Psychology:
Don't know him, and he doesn't know me. He can't pronounce my last name, and that bothers me.

Spanish: She says im her "estudiante favorito." I talk to her a lot, mostly in Spanish.

Apush: Loser can't pronounce my first OR last name, and my first name is a simple 4 letter common name. I've talked to him like once and it was really brief.

Stoich: Pretty hard to avoid getting to know a teacher when you sit front and center. Likes me because I have 98% in the class while everyone else is failing.

All of my teachers are different.

IB Art- I've had the same art teacher since 9th grade, so I joke around with him a lot.

AP French Language- Sometimes when I see the teacher outside of class, she starts talking to me, and all I can say is "Bonjour" and "oui". Secret? I'm really not that good at French. I have no clue of what she's saying.

AP Physics- Never really talked to him outside of class, but I never SEE him outside of class. All of his classes are in the same

AP Calc- I love my Calc teacher- he's so great. We watched European metal videos in class one day. It was great. And sometimes, when I'm getting out of my car, he'll be driving up in his van, and he waves to me.

Biotechnology- I knew this teacher even before I actually had a class with her. She likes me, I like her. I could probably get an A even if I didn't try, but I'm really interested in the material, so I do put in that extra effort.

hopefully, a non-romantic one

LOL i was just waiting for some to say "sexual"
and lol in 7th grade. all the teachers thought i was retarded. but that was the time i noticed that no one gives a **** about ur grades in middle school.

^ Yeah thank goodness those grades doesn't show up anywhere.

I had Bs and Cs all over the place.

And it's kinda creepy to know that teachers talk about you and then know your name even if you're not in their class yet or like on the first day of school because they all talked to each other.

I don't think any teacher, even the ones that I had during freshman year ( even my gym teacher) haven't forgotten my name because, well...it's one that you wouldn't easily forget. And also, I find it a little creepy when people who don't even know me actually know my name. shivers
