I'm considering declaring a 'Business & Technology: Entrepreneurship track' as my major but I don't know if it's going to help me. I've been working for myself as a small time freelancer/entrepreneur along side college for several years now, (ebay, web design, electronics repair) and I'd really like to keep it that way as long as I can, just on a bigger scale. Meaning I'd like to get into larger financial projects in the tech startup scene or work on marketing emerging technologies. Since it seems that business classes are geared more towards management, I'm wondering if this will help me and what kind of job opportunities like that are available?

Secondly, one of my friends turned down a CNET recruiter who wanted her to come be an editor/columnist. The interesting point is that she had a degree in computer science of all things. Is this out of the ordinary or are creative jobs like that also available to tech nuts with business degrees?
