What kinds of people are at UCSC?

<p>I've hear that the hippie rumor is mostly a myth, like there are some but not everybody is a hippie.
I was asking cuz i go to high school with a bunch of rich kids and they're all snooty, and i
heard that a lot of UCSC kids are pretty wealthy so i was just wondering if they are mostly stuck up. </p>

<p>But in general is it just normal friendly people?</p>

<p>On average, you’ll find that most students here aren’t rich. I mean, we’re college students. haha.</p>

<p>I haven’t met anyone who was particularly “stuck up.”
I don’t find that to be a problem at all.</p>

<p>Actually, UCSC is one of the friendliest college campuses I’ve been on. I think it’s because of that community feel we have here.</p>
