Hi,
I am going to start my freshmen year at University of Miami this August. My intended major is Finance.
Now, I want to have an overview of everything that is often taught for a freshmen student in college. Can you please tell me specifically what you studied in your first year of your school? ( in Maths, Econ and so on..)
I also want to gain some basic knoledge in these subjects before the freshmen year. Can you suggest some resourses for me in order to learn these subjects beforehand?
I really appreciate your help.
Thank you very much.

Micro/Macro Economics, supply and demand stuff, and factors that affect the economy, etc.

Calc 1 for Business, easy as hell if even I can do good in it.

Some "business courses" which is usually some team work building stuff and presentations.

Basic business law class.

Freshmen level courses are so easy theres no need to prepare for them beforehand. Just relax and make some $$$ in the summer.

im guessing your an international student

your english usage is interesting

lemme guess...India?

@ Dawgie: thanks so much for your help!!
@Superman123: You're right!!

well, you should get a book with all the courses in it from the uni.
mine was mailed to me.

it's divided into degrees, and the courses are listed, and the descriptions of them.

during the freshman year, everyone pretty much does the same stuff, meaning,
science courses, english courses, math, etc.

Addition, subtraction. Business Calc (the easiest calc available). Pretty tough.

Yeah you have to be academically gung-ho and change your major to engineering like Mr. payne.

Not.

Can you please share me some links or websites to study Biz Cal and English Writing?
And, do you have any experience in preparing for your first-year education in your college?
Thank you guys for your help.

Just get a calculus textbook and search google for writing conventions. That is really all you can do for those two subjects.

other than that dude, I think you should relax during your summer break, you will feel great by the time you start college!.
