<p>Oh, would you recommend having a thesis? I just thought that the essays weren’t designed to be very long, so I haven’t had a strict format.</p>
<p>one of my essays has a clear thesis, but I don’t really think that it’s necessary for all of them. Last year I just did blob paragraph with everything in it.</p>
<p>Oh yeah that’s not good. But my longer essays to have separate paragraphs; they’re just so reflective, I can’t really work in a thesis.</p>
<p>i don’t think you have to explicitly state your thesis, but you have to know exactly what the point of your essay if as you are writing it, to make sure you address its aims, and the admission officers come out with a clear(er) picture of you.</p>
