What Makes UPenn Unique?

As a rising senior, I have begun the exciting yet stressful process of applying for colleges. After compiling an extensive list of universities(UPenn being a top choice), I am trying to narrow the options down to 6 or 7 schools. This way, I will be able to concentrate my efforts on a relatively selective few while also diversifying my chances. However, I have had a difficult time narrowing down my choices. Thus, I turn to the CC community for advice.
I recently visited Penn's campus over spring break, attended the admission tours, and sat in on a class(FNCE 101: Monetary Economics & the Global Economy). Several things about Penn really drew me in, such as the beautiful campus, its location in Philadelphia, the Wharton School of Business, the balance of a practical education with liberal arts, etc. However, I would like to pose a question directly to current students and alumni: What makes Penn unique when compared to other universities(other than the examples I gave), and what specifically about the school do/did you love the most? Any perspectives, especially ones speckled with personal anecdotes or experiences, would be greatly appreciated.

For me, it’s the friends I’ve made there. I have no qualms leaving the library at 2am and singing “Under the Sea” at the top of my lungs with my best friends and having everyone else stare at us (if any Penn students are reading this and saw me that night…oops!).
